The challenge
Pratsen runs doorstep car wash and detailing across multiple cities. As bookings grew, operations outgrew spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, and a disconnected marketing website.
Bookings lived outside the system
Customers called, messaged, or used the website with no link to operations. Staff retyped vehicle details, services, add ons, and addresses into sheets. Promo codes, wallet credits, and tax were calculated manually. There was no shared booking reference, pricing snapshot, or payment record per job.
Technicians had no mobile workflow
Field teams received informal job lists. There was no app for accept → navigate → arrive → verify service-start OTP → complete with photo proof. Admins could not see who was online, in transit, or delayed.
Dispatch was manual and area blind
Jobs were not routed by service pincode or technician coverage. No midnight pool release, timed dispatch window, or automatic missed-service handling when a slot passed without acceptance or start.
Payments and payouts were disconnected
Customer UPI/card payments, wallet balances, referral credits, refunds, and technician payouts lived in separate trackers. Finance could not export one ledger or reconcile a booking end to end.
Five products, no unified platform
The business needed a customer mobile app, technician mobile app, operations admin panel, public Laravel website, and Laravel website admin CMS all serving one car care operation.

- Mapped end-to-end workflows across customer app, technician app, operations admin, and Laravel website
- Designed a single NestJS API and PostgreSQL data model as the operations backbone
- Rolled out in phases starting with technician dispatch and operations admin, then mobile apps, payments, and public website

Pincode-dispatched jobs, accept/reject, navigation, service-start OTP verification, before/after photo upload, and live location streaming powered by 17+ API endpoints.
Operations admin panel (Web)
Dashboard with revenue and booking analytics, technician assignment by pincode, booking status control, service catalog, payments, refunds, payouts, promos, bulk notifications, and role-based access for super admin, admin, and support 49+ API endpoints.
Public website (Laravel)
SEO optimised marketing site for services, brand content, and mobile app download managed independently from day-to-day operations.
Website admin panel (Laravel CMS)
Marketing team updates pages, banners, and content without developer involvement.
